'St.John the Baptist Surrounded by Saints' was painted by Giuseppe Salviati. The chapel is named after the Bragadin family whose most famous member at the time of Vigna's building was Marcantonio Bragadin. He was flayed alive on Cyprus after surrendering to the Turks. Under terms of his surrender he was to have been allowed to leave the island safely. The men who surrendered with him were also slaughtered.
